I've never forgotten the excitement when I saw a photograph slowly appeared on a sheet of paper for the first time!
I grew up in Thailand in a family with business and engineering backgrounds. Thanks to my mother's special love in art, she always made sure that I had the opportunity to paint, draw, dance, and play an instrument as well as doing good academically. My mother once said, "I want to record every moment of your childhood so you can remember them when you are older." She would photo-documenting me going through my days as she never gets a chance to be photographed in her childhood. I remember looking through the photo negatives and wonder how did these funky looking things transform into beautiful photographs.
The moment I fell in love with photography was in the darkroom workshop that I took part in when I was 14 years old. The most magical thing was when I saw a photograph slowly appeared on a sheet of paper for the first time. I've never forgotten the excitement, which I still have every time I review my photographs after the photographing sessions. I have been practicing photography since.
I establish myself as an artist with an eye for detail and an extensive understanding of photography, lighting, and product styling. I am always eager to try new approaches and find creative ways to deal with problems under limited resources. I am well organized and I put a lot of care into my works. I succeed at working independently as much as I enjoy mutually sharing creative ideas with other team members. I graduated from Columbia College Chicago in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography. I'm eager to explore whatever comes next!
